The past few days I have been in the bush (Australian version of a forest). Strangely, when reporter Vanessa deVinet finished our interview, she secretly and without explanation handed me two artifacts (see photos). She suggested they may help in my search for “The Bears Down Under” – but wasn’t able (or willing) to provide any additional information.

I cannot decipher the writing, or the material on which they are written. Although they look quite old there is nothing to indicate a date. I do not have any clues where to search next. I wonder if there is someone who can decipher these pieces for me. Ah well, tomorrow is another day ... I shall begin anew.
