Catching Up

 

I sit in my Lighthouse looking out over Arktos-By-The-Sea. I have been quite negligent at keeping up-to-date on my journal entries. The adventures here have kept me far busier than I could have ever imagined.

 

I’ve met so many Bears so far. 

 

First there was Vanessa deVinet the reporter, she has been very helpful, though a little mysterious!  Then I met Raftus and Rufus ... funny little Bears who are always having fun.   “Beary Funny” seems to be their favorite expression.  Oh, and Kirsty Keykeep, Keeper of the Keys, was the Bear I met next, then Libeartie, the lovely librarian.   I remember the delightful afternoon tea I shared with Libeartie.  Then I met Eli Edit, the Arktos Argosy Editor.  Another amazing Bear, with an interesting collection of strange musical instruments, is Zac Zitherbear.  Golly Gosh the General Store Proprietor is a real chatterbox. Months ago I met Sadie Special. Now there is a bear with a bright personality.  She told me how Raftus and Rufus had covered everything in bubbles and it still made her laugh. Sam Something is quite a magician with a hammer.  Kind, funny and respected is Officer Oskar.  The adventurer is Xavier Xplorer, he has an extensive collections of artifacts from around the world. Polly Post the beloved postal Bear and her pony Bobbin, always on time with the mail.  Then there is Isaac Inventori, forever pondering or thinking about a new invention. And sweet Henri and Henrietta Huggie, always keeping me in an abundant supply of honey – I do love honey!

 

From the pages of The Ancient Book I’ve received so far from each Bear, I know there are a total of 44, I’ve met 16 Bears so far.   I wonder how long it will take for me to find all them all?  Well, I’m here on a mission to find and learn about The Bears Down Under and share them with you. The Bears I’ve met so far are lovable and truly magical creatures.  

 

I’m off to make a cup of lemon tea (with honey of course). I hope you are well and have enjoyed the journey so far.  Keep coming back; I will try to be more diligent with my communication.
